About Us Sunday School for Children
Mount Olivet has a strong Christian education program for preschool and elementary school-aged children with classes meeting from 9:30 -10:30 am. Each class is taught by a team of dedicated church members using United Methodist curriculum.Preschool classes are in the preschool wing of the church, with the exception of the 2-year-old classroom, which is at the bottom of the stairs on the lower level (room L6).
Two-year-olds, Room L6
Three-year-olds, Room S16
Four-year-olds, Rooms S12 and S9
Five-year-olds (Kindergarten), Room S11
Children are placed in classes based on their age as of September 30. For example, if your child turns 3 on October 5, he/she will be in the two-year-old class the entire year. (This ensures that your child is in the correct class when he/she begins school.)
Elementary classes are on the second floor, accessible from the church Gathering Space or via the elevator.
