Haiti Mission Teams
Haiti UMVIM Mission TeamsWe are sending two teams: one on September 11-18 and one on September 17-25.
Both teams will be working on the rebuilding effort in a local community and potentially on a pilot development program, supporting and working with Haitian workers, and building bonds with the community. We will also work with the children in the community and lead a VBS. But as all of our Mount Olivet teams have learned, the real ministry is in just being present.
The cost of the trip is $1400 and includes your airfare, lodging, meals, and project supplies. You will also need vaccinations, malaria medication, and some supplies for the “rustic” living conditions. Must have a current passport and be in good health.
We are also looking for medical professionals – EMTs, nurses, doctors, dentists, etc. But mostly, we are looking for people with willing hearts, a love for people, and flexibility in changing situations.
