The Tuesday night discussion group resumes from 8:00-9:00 pm at Arax Coffee (5852 Washington Blvd, just east of Lost Dog in Westover). Led by Andrew Pratt and Shane Yommer, it will be a very open-ended group, with discussion centering around relevant topics and how they intersect with our own lives and faiths.
Contemporary worship gets a new look at Mount Olivet. Join us at The Well for creative and engaging worship that weaves Jesus’ story with our own. Our band will lead energetic and contemplative music (lots of it!); there will be prayer, Scripture reading, and thematic preaching. The Well is a place to gather, ponder, grow, worship, and serve. During our spring sermon series – Storytelling at TheWell – we’ll consider questions like: ‘who am I?’ ‘who are we?’ and ‘what are we doing?’ Come at 5:30 pm, bring your questions about faith, and worship God with us.
Childcare is provided for children under 6.
For children age 3 through 5.
After the Well … meet in the Gathering Space at 6:30 pm to join other young adults and members of our church for Sunday night food and fellowship.
We will be planning for the Virginia Annual Conference
Green Team meeting here at Mount Olivet on August 30.
