Music serves a variety of worship settings for receiving, sharing and responding to the Gospel as a faith community, empowering and equipping ourselves to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Adult Music Ministries

Chancel Ringers
(for youth and adults)
The Chancel Ringers, our adult and youth handbell choir, is open to note-reading musicians. The Chancel Ringers play in worship once a month. Click on the player to hear a sample of handbell music.
The Chancel Ringers rehearse Wednesdays, 6:45 – 7:15 pm.
Season September- June
Time commitment 30 minutes per week, plus worship services

The Mount Olivet Choir
The Mount Olivet Choir is the principal adult choir at Mount Olivet. Click on the player to listen to a sample selection:
Join a dynamic adult choir that sings regularly at the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship services. The Mount Olivet Choir also presents annual concert and hymn festival programs.
The Mount Olivet Choir rehearses Wednesdays, 7:15 – 9:00 pm.
Season September – June
Time commitment 1.75 hours per week rehearsal, plus Sunday morning worship
Olive Branch (an adult vocal ensemble)
This informal group of adult singers, guitarists and percussionists participates in worship several times per year in addition to special services at Mount Olivet and in the community.
Time commitment 1.5 hours per week, plus worship services and other special events
JC Reigns (an adult praise band)
JC Reigns is a lively and enthusiastic group responsible for providing music for the Sunday afternoon contemporary service. The band currently includes vocalist, guitarists (both acoustical and electric), bassists, percussionists and pianists, but can be enlarged to include horns and wind instruments. Time commitment 2-2.5 hour weekly rehearsal, plus Sunday afternoon worship
